Why this programme

Because knowing tools does not make a film

You can generate a striking image or clip in minutes, but a film needs story, character continuity, visual and sound decisions, pacing and review. This programme brings those skills into one production workflow learned through your project—not disconnected demos.

What makes it different

Learn to think like a filmmaker—not just switch between apps

AI expands what one person can produce, but it does not remove the need for story, taste and review. The programme therefore focuses on decisions that remain valuable even when the tools change.

01

One connected project

Every session adds a new production asset to the same film.

02

Guidance and review

You move on only after understanding and reviewing the practical output.

03

A method beyond tools

You learn to choose, analyse and improve—not repeat memorised clicks.

The production journey

From idea to final film — step by step

The trainer builds each stage live, then you apply it to your project and review the result before moving on—following a guided film-project methodology.

Who it's for

A creative path for six kinds of participants

The programme is for people ready to make a real project—not those looking for a quick tool demonstration.

🎥

Content creators & social media managers

For those ready to move from isolated clips to story-led content with a clear identity and workflow.

📣

Marketers & entrepreneurs

For those who need ad concepts and brand stories they can develop in-house with greater speed and cost awareness.

🎨

Designers & video producers

For those adding scene writing, character consistency and AI-assisted motion to an existing creative skill set.

🏫

Trainers & educators

For those creating engaging visual learning stories without reducing the experience to a dry tour of tools.

🎓

Students & graduates

For those who want a structured practical project they can add to a portfolio and explain creatively.

People with a story to tell

For anyone with a film idea or visual story who needs a clear method to move it from page to screen.

The curriculum

6 modules, 4 days (18–20 hours), one project that grows with you

Every module builds on the last — in a real production order, not a random one.

🎬

1Module 1: Intro to AI Filmmaking

The concept of AI-powered production, film stages, the idea-to-video workflow, and responsible-use principles.

✍️

2Module 2: Idea Development & Script Writing

Logline, Synopsis, building characters, and breaking the script into scenes and shots.

🎨

3Module 3: Prompt Engineering & Cinematic Image/Scene Generation

Professional prompt structure, composition, camera angles, lighting and aspect ratios, keeping characters and locations consistent, then analysing and refining results with whichever tool is in use for the cohort.

🧬

4Module 4: Characters, Locations & Visual Continuity

Character design and Character Sheet, locking in features and wardrobe, building locations and visual references, Storyboard, and keeping characters, locations and elements consistent across scenes.

🎞️

5Module 5: Image-to-Video & Sound Design

Turning images into scenes with Kling or Veo, controlling camera and character motion, and producing voice-over and sound with Google AI Studio or the selected tool.

🏆

6Module 6: Final Editing & Graduation Project

Editing your film in CapCut, pacing and colour, exporting, and presenting your final project to the group.

Named tools are used as part of the production workflow. The trainer may substitute an equivalent if availability changes or a newer option produces better results.

What you will build

A project file—not just one video file

The real value is the organised set of assets showing how you moved from idea to final cut—assets you can reuse and develop later.

01

A workable idea and script

02

Character Bible and reference sheet

03

Character files, visual references and the prompts used in the project

04

Shot list and storyboard

05

Image and motion-asset library

06

Voice-over, effects and suitable music

07

A final cut of the short-film project

08

An organised project file documenting each production stage and its output — one you can keep developing and reuse later

What you'll gain

Skills that remain useful when tools change

Turn a raw idea into a Logline, Synopsis and full script using AI
Write professional prompts, analyse their results and refine them systematically
Design characters with a consistent visual identity across every scene
Build a professional Storyboard and Shot List
Animate images into video with precise control over motion and camera
Generate voice-over and sound effects that serve the story's drama
Edit and export a short-film project at the appropriate format and quality
Organise the project assets into a starter portfolio you can continue developing
How learning works

Watch, build, review, then approve

This loop repeats at every stage, keeping every participant connected to an achievable project rather than disconnected lectures.

01

Watch

The trainer builds the stage live and explains the decisions, not merely the buttons.

02

Build

You immediately apply the step to your own project on your own device.

03

Review

The result is reviewed and corrected before you move to the next stage.

04

Approve

The stage output is approved and added to the project file and practical assignment.

Continuous, practical assessment

Your assessment is based on ongoing monitoring throughout the programme — attendance, participation and hands-on application, commitment to each stage of the project, and how the work develops through to the quality and delivery of the final project, per programme requirements.
