What is AI Makers?

It's not about knowing every AI tool's name

It's about learning to think alongside AI, not letting it think for them. Over two weeks, participants take on short challenges and real hands-on exercises — understanding what AI can and can't do, practising prompting, verification, and responsible creativity — then build a real team project in small groups that serves their school, community, culture, or digital wellbeing.

AI for studying

Using AI for studying & research — honestly

AI is a study partner, not a shortcut for cheating. We teach participants to learn with it — not lean on it — so it strengthens their understanding and respects their own effort and their teachers'.

🧠
Understand, don't copyUse AI to explain an idea — then write it yourself, in your own words.
🔍
Verify every factAI can be confidently wrong — check the source before you believe it or hand it in.
📚
Research & citeFind real sources, credit them, and avoid plagiarism.
✍️
Keep your own voiceLet AI help you polish — but the ideas and words stay yours.

FAQ

Everything a parent needs to know

Does my child need any coding experience?

None at all. The programme requires no prior coding — just basic browser and typing skills.

What's the right age range?

The main track is ages 14–17. A 13-year-old can be accepted after a readiness check. A separate "Junior" version for ages 11–13 is planned for later.

Does my child need their own device?

A laptop is welcome if the academy asks for one; otherwise the academy provides devices — one per participant, or at most one shared between two.

How is my child's data and privacy protected?

Through academy-managed accounts only, no sensitive personal data collection, and a responsible-use charter every participant signs. See the "Note for Parents" section above.
