Terms of Service

1. Parties

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between Al Sahl Al-Mumtani SPC (CR: 1251921, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman — "Taim Academy", "we", "us") and you ("User", "you"), whether you are an individual learner, a corporate client, or an institutional partner.

By registering for a course, using our website, accessing the AI Lab, or submitting any form, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Services

Taim Academy provides:

• Training programmes — public and corporate courses in AI, data science, and professional skills, delivered in-person and online
• Taim AI Lab (beta.taim.om / ai.taim.om) — a bilingual AI training platform granting supervised access to multiple AI models (including Claude by Anthropic, Gemini by Google, Grok by xAI, DeepSeek, and ChatGPT by OpenAI) for educational purposes within enrolled programmes
• Consulting & assessments — AI readiness assessments, team diagnostics (AI Health Check), and data consulting services for organisations
• Data Hub — curated datasets and resources for educational and research use
• Digital tools — quizzes, pulse surveys, and AI-powered career exploration tools

All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice.

3. Registration & Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• Corporate enrolments made by an organisation on behalf of individuals are subject to the training agreement in place between that organisation and Taim Academy.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in misconduct, or are used to misrepresent identity.
• One person per account. Sharing access credentials is prohibited.

4. Payment & Pricing

• All prices are in Omani Rial (OMR) and include any applicable fees unless stated otherwise.
• Enrolment is confirmed upon successful payment. Pending payments do not reserve a seat.
• Payment is processed securely via Thawani, an Omani-licensed payment gateway. We do not store card details.
• Corporate clients invoiced directly under a signed training agreement are subject to the payment terms in that agreement.
• Pricing is subject to change. Confirmed enrolments are honoured at the price paid.

5. Taim AI Lab — Acceptable Use

Access to the AI Lab is granted as part of specific enrolled programmes and is non-transferable. By using the AI Lab, you agree to:

• Use AI tools solely for educational purposes within your enrolled programme
• Not use AI models to generate harmful, offensive, illegal, or misleading content
• Not attempt to circumvent safety measures, rate limits, or access controls
• Not share your AI Lab access credentials or SSO token with others
• Not scrape, extract, or systematically download AI outputs for commercial purposes
• Comply with the acceptable use policies of the underlying AI model providers (Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, OpenAI, and any others integrated into the Lab)

Violations may result in immediate suspension of AI Lab access and, at our discretion, termination of your enrolment without refund.

6. Surveys, Assessments & Data Tools

Our diagnostic tools (AI Readiness Assessment, Data Story Quiz, Taim Pulse, Team AI Quiz, AI Health Check) are:

• For educational and informational purposes only. Results are not professional, legal, or financial advice.
• Personalised results are generated using AI and statistical models and are indicative, not definitive.
• By submitting a quiz or assessment, you consent to receiving a follow-up email sequence related to your result. You may unsubscribe at any time.
• For corporate AI Health Checks, the diagnostic report is confidential to the contracting organisation and Taim Academy.

7. Intellectual Property

• All course materials, curricula, datasets, brand assets, website content, and AI-generated assessments are the exclusive property of Al Sahl Al-Mumtani SPC, protected under Omani intellectual property law.
• Materials provided during courses are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, publish, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
• Recording of live sessions (audio, video, screen capture) is prohibited without explicit written permission.
• Student projects submitted during programmes remain your property. By submitting them for showcase display, you grant Taim Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them on our platforms for promotional and educational purposes.

8. Conduct & Academic Integrity

You agree to:

• Treat instructors, staff, and fellow participants with respect in all interactions
• Submit your own work in assessments unless collaboration is explicitly permitted
• Not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliation
• Not disrupt sessions, training environments, or online platforms

Violations may result in removal from the programme without refund and permanent account suspension.

9. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued upon meeting the attendance and assessment requirements of each programme. Taim Academy certificates are issued under the authority of Al Sahl Al-Mumtani SPC and are verifiable at taim.om/verify. They are for educational recognition purposes and do not confer professional licensure unless explicitly stated.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Omani law:

• Taim Academy provides educational content in good faith. We are not liable for business decisions, career outcomes, or financial results arising from applying course content.
• AI-generated outputs in the AI Lab and assessment tools are experimental and educational. They must not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
• We are not liable for third-party service interruptions (AI providers, payment gateways, hosting).
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email (for registered users) and a prominent notice on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance.
