Moodle Lesson Quality Inspector
Project Overview
The Ministry of Education's e-learning platform, Moodle, contains thousands of lessons built by different instructors across the country โ all expected to meet defined learning standards and cover specified curriculum objectives. Manual quality review at this scale is practically impossible to sustain. This AI agent automates the inspection process by connecting to Moodle, retrieving lessons, and evaluating each one against four criteria: alignment with stated learning objectives, coverage completeness relative to the planned content, structural quality of the lesson flow, and appropriate use of assessment activities. For each lesson, the agent produces a colour-coded assessment card โ green for compliant, amber for minor issues, red for significant gaps โ with specific, actionable feedback notes attached to each flag. The system makes consistent, documented quality review at scale practical for the first time, and gives curriculum supervisors a data-driven view of content quality across their entire lesson library.
